Chester Hotel is managed by Belmo Group, a Queensland-founded hospitality and residential management company that has been operating in the city since 2011.
Belmo Group runs two divisions: Belmo Hotels and Belmo Living. Covering corporate and leisure hotels alongside premium residential developments. The group works as an owner, operator, and investor across its portfolio, which means the same organisation setting strategy is also the one accountable for what happens at the front desk each morning.
The company's history traces back to its first management rights acquisition at Republic Apartments, and has since grown into a broader portfolio across Australia. That growth has come with a consistent approach: take on a property's existing strengths, and build a distinct identity around them rather than replacing them wholesale. Chester Hotel is the latest expression of that approach - a rebrand built on the reputation the property had already earned, not a departure from it.
What guests can expect
Nothing about the day-to-day changes. Reception is staffed 24 hours. Checkout remains 10am, with late checkout available on request. Parking is complimentary. Housekeeping runs daily, with a do-not-disturb option for guests who'd rather not be. The rooftop pool and gym are open until 9pm, and the rooftop barbecue area can be booked directly through the hotel.
New signage, new digital touchpoints, and refreshed collateral will roll out across the property over the coming months. The service behind them won't need to catch up - it was already there.
